Bar: 220K PSI · bearings + bushings
Every plate on this site ends up on a bar like this one. Our 7-foot Olympic barbell measures 86.6 inches overall with a 51.6-inch shaft and 16.3-inch sleeves, fits every 2-inch plate, and is rated to 1900 lb — far beyond anything a home rack will see. The 28 mm grip sits comfortably in most hands for bench, squat, deadlift and press.

Moly-alloy steel with heat treatment balances stiffness and whip.

Dual knurl zones, center knurl for squats, and rings for consistent hand placement.

Bearings and bushings keep the sleeves turning smoothly under load.
We offer three builds. The 220K PSI bar with ball bearings and bushings is our everyday choice; the 250K PSI version spins on 15 needle bearings with brass bushings for faster cleans; and the boxed 220K PSI version arrives with two spring clips so you can lift the day it lands. All three carry a 1.5 mm diamond knurl with a center section for squats.

I wanted a basic curl bar that the kids and I could use in the garage. I picked this one because the dimensions, weight, and angles seemed right, the ends were solid, it had clips, and the ends rotate. It arrived in a single rectangular box without any damage. I've used it about a week and am very happy with it. It feels similar to bars I've used in the gym and has bends in the right places. The ends rotate the way they should and the clips are fine. I really like the knurl (ie, the diamond pattern)- it gives a good grip but the pattern doesn't cut into my hands the way my regular bench bar does. The bar feels solid enough that it could hold a lot of weight.
Craig D. Ulmer · January 14, 2022I have only been using it for a couple weeks now but it seems really well built. The knurl doesnt hurt your hands and the clips are really solid and hold the weights on. They dont slip at all. Great purchase!
Jodeman · February 1, 2023So pleased with the quality of this product. It’s not some junk steel with no cosmetic issues, the knurled handle makes a good grip, the clips that come with the bar is definitely a plus.
Capt AL · February 16, 2023This is the first barbell I’ve bought so I may be inexperienced in selecting exercise equipment. First thing to point out is the barbell I received was black, but the listing shows a silver barbell. Second thing is my only gripe about the barbell is that it squeaks a lot when doing reps. The bar in the middle can turn and this is causing the squeaking. Not really sure if this is normal, or if there is anything i can do to make it stop. Other than that its a decent bar. I just wished it didnt squeak so much.
The 7th Number · October 22, 2022For squats, bench and deadlift the 220K PSI bar is plenty. If you do cleans and snatches, the 250K PSI needle-bearing bar spins faster.
It is a standard 7 ft Olympic bar, so it sits on regular J-hooks and safety arms — our FLA01 power cage included.
